City of Beaverton Active Transportation Plan
Do you live in City of Beaverton?
MAKE THE CITY OF BEAVERTON A BETTER PLACE TO WALK AND BIKE
Residents are invited to attend the second virtual open house from Thursday, May 25th to Monday, June 12th to learn more about the city of Beaverton’s Active Transportation Plan. During the first virtual open house we asked for feedback on your experiences biking, walking, and rolling around Beaverton. Now we are providing a project status update, a summary of the public input we've received, and an opportunity for you to provide feedback on the types of bike and pedestrian facilities being proposed in the Beaverton Active Transportation Plan.
Please visit the second virtual open house: http://openhouse.jla.us.com/beaverton-atp2. One of City Council’s top priorities in 2017 is to complete the Active Transportation Plan. The plan’s goal is to develop well-connected, attractive bike and pedestrian networks that are safe, convenient, and user-friendly for people of all ages and abilities.
If you’re a bicyclist, download Ride Report, the free app to rate your bike ride, at https://ride.report/. The app anonymously tracks your route and lets you rate how it went. The city will use this information to learn about what routes residents use the most and to gather data on community needs to support bicycling.
